Kinderdijk Windmill (62)
The 19 windmills at Kinderdijk were built around 1740 to drain the lowlands between the junction of the rivers Lek and Noord. While their function has largely been replaced by modern electric pumps, they are maintained in working condition and have become one of the best known Dutch tourist sites. This group of windmills constitute the largest concentration of old windmills in the Netherlands and was placed on the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 1997. Traffic Bollard
This traffic bollard is in a pedestrian passageway in Nijmegen, Netherlands. Nijmegen was important because it is the location of the last bridge (the Waal Bridge) captured during Operation Market Garden in World War II. The city itself celebrated it's 2000th anniversary in 2005, but was largely devastated during the fighting, and has since been rebuilt. Windmill at the Zuider Zee Open Air Museum
